Engineering and Prototyping
We transform your ideas into production-ready solutions — combining engineering precision with hands on creativity.
ABOUT
At Syzan, we can begin our collaboration at any stage of the design process.
Some clients come to us with a complete design and 3D model — ready for production. In such cases, we use the provided STEP files to prepare flat drawings optimized for our manufacturing capabilities. Our engineers carefully review each project to identify potential improvements and ensure maximum efficiency. Once the design is validated, we prepare a Bill of Materials (BOM) and begin prototype production — a crucial step for confirming functionality, quality, and customer satisfaction before serial manufacturing.
No 3D model yet? No problem.
Our engineering team can create one for you. A 3D model is an essential part of our process — it allows us to assess design suitability, safety, and manufacturability. We work with industry-standard software such as Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks to ensure precision and compatibility with your production requirements.
OUR PROCESS
Every project begins with a well-structured development process
By combining creativity with engineering expertise, we transform your ideas into practical, high-quality solutions that deliver measurable results.
Concept and consultation
Every project begins with understanding your vision. Together, we define goals, technical requirements, and design expectations to ensure the right foundation for development.
Engineering analysis
Our engineering team reviews your concept or 3D model (STEP files) to verify manufacturability and functionality. We identify potential improvements that can optimize cost, quality, or assembly time.
3D modeling
Using Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks, we create or refine detailed 3D models that form the basis for prototype production. This stage ensures precision, safety, and full technical clarity.
Documentation and BOM preparation
Our engineers prepare comprehensive technical documentation and a Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring smooth communication between design and production teams.
Prototype production
We build a functional prototype to validate the design. This allows for hands-on evaluation, adjustment, and confirmation that the product meets all expectations before serial production begins.
Design validation and approval
The prototype and documentation are reviewed with the client for final approval — ensuring confidence and satisfaction before moving into large-scale production.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Here are some of the most common questions we get from our partners and clients.
Do you build structures based on a client’s design, or do you help with design development from the beginning?
We can work entirely from the client’s design, or we can provide full design and engineering support from the early concept stage.
Do you have ISO certifications?
Yes, we are certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
Do you conduct quality control at every stage of production?
Yes, quality control is carried out at multiple stages of the project, including in-process inspections and final product verification.
What are the approximate or maximum lead times?
Lead times depend on the order size, complexity, and quantity. Typically, prototypes take 2–6 weeks, while series production requires 3–10 weeks.
Can you offer assembly services?
Yes, we provide assembly services. Please see the Assembly section for more details.
Can you ship all over Europe?
Yes, we ship throughout Europe—and even worldwide.
Which engineering software do you work with?
We work primarily with Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks.
Do you also handle one-off projects?
We focus on larger-scale projects, but we can also manage low-volume series production upon request.
